Good bye Winter! THANK YOU to all our loyal customers who braved the winter weather the past 2 months. In 2020 we continue to refine our priorities and navigate change for the overall betterment of our community and local Kawartha and Ontario Farmers!
We have many exciting activities, especially for families, during March Break which include “Good Bye To Winter” Contest, chance to win Gift Baskets every Saturday (featuring Vendor’s products), Colouring Contests for children, “Celebrate the Irish” and “Grow a plant” day. Stay tuned for “The Maple Syrup Festival” taking place every Saturday of April, kicking off “Ontario Maple Days” with the Pancake Breakfast on April 4, prepared by the East Peterborough Lions Club featuring local Maple Syrup. Yummy samples of maple syrup treats will be available from our local Maple Syrup Producers.
The Peterborough and District Farmers’ Market is a cherished and vibrant part of our community, a Tradition. It is constantly striving to provide Ontario grown, farm fresh produce/products and quality wares by craft makers, as well as bringing the community together in many ways.
